Hi all Dsmfl have decided that from next season we will put forward a "select team" to compete in inter divisional games.

See below for details as we are looking to first off all put together a management team to run the sqaud.

SAFA are keen that all leagues get involved in their inter league competition that has run for many years. DSMFL have not taken part so far but the Executive Committee have agreed that it is something we need to look at as a league from season 17/18. It would initially involve playing leagues local to us - MAFA, Perthsire, Aberdeen, Fife and then possibly wider if we were successful.

The main purpose of the competition is to showcase the league and therefore we need a good spread of players and a management team from all divisions which does that. There is no point sticking me and Steve Mc in charge and us picking 16 guys from 2 or 3 Premier League teams. Ideally we would have a management team made of guys from all 3 divisions and also a squad of players from all 3 divisions.

Players can be discussed in a few months time but firstly I would like to invite managers/coaches/first aiders or anyone who would like to just help out to come forward so the Executive Committee can put together a management team in time for next season kicking off.
